Our Black Dahlia

We now have a new little one in our household!
We named her Dahli- as in the flower dahlia, or dilly dally! I think after just two weeks, she's here to stay! She's a black lab, just 3 months old and we love her already. With our 4 1/2 acres of property, there's lots of room for her to run with the boys! Maybe they'll all wear each other out!
Already, she loves to chase the frogs and play ball... definitely a retriever!

Our Little Bruiser

As if we don't have enough excitement in our lives... Caden decided to try a cool trick and take his bike off the front porch last Saturday night! He landed face first on a landscaping rock that Grandma and I just set there the day before! Instead of keeping our cool, we both panicked and had no idea what to do for our bleeding little guy! We didn't even know where the nearest hospital was... or how to get there! Eventually, we made our way... after about a 25 minute drive!
The ER doctor glued his nose back together instead of stitches, so we were happy about that! We're pretty sure he's going to have a nice scar... the first of many for this little daredevil!

Home Sweet Home

I think I've logged about a zillion hours on the phone trying to get our home phone, dish and Internet going... we finally have dial-up as of tonight and WOW... it's SLOW! We may have to see if we have any other options...

Here is our new house... our dream house... the house we never want to move out of!

Out on a dirt road!

We should soon be connected to the outside world! We're getting our home telephone, dish for tv and Internet this week! Takes a while when you live out on a dirt road! We're still getting settled and LOVE our new home! Feels like a dream to us... we wake up every morning and can't believe it's ours! Lots of fun projects... our days are full! The boys start football today, and are a little nervous since it's been in the 100's...
I'll write more next week when we're connected!
