seriously... an OFFER?

Picture our neighbors Steve & Tammy took for us... oh, we miss this place!
We're still working to sell our house... on the market almost seven months now is a little too much stress. With four houses on our dirt road all for sale, we know the market is slow... just can't figure out why a nice family wouldn't want to buy ours! Initially, we listed it at 259,900. We've come down to $244,900. At this point, we're definitely not trying to make money, just get out of it. Five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, 4.5 acres, 3-car garage, full-finished basement, Jim's dream shop, and the best neighbors in the world to top it off! We received an offer yesterday for $200,000 and are still a little unsure what to take of it. An offer is an offer, so it's hard to get upset but... seriously? We know that anyone looking at it sees it's empty so we're pretty sure anyone and everyone can assume we're desperate. They're fairly accurate in their assumption, but an offer of $45,000 below our asking price? Come on... Do people actually think we'd go that low and just give it away? We have a mortgage to pay off...
