Growing up in AK, we loved snow days... We're learning quickly in Kansas that there's rain, freezing rain, sleet... and maybe some snow! The boys got a free day off school today because of the freezing rain. The trees are frozen, but roads are just wet. I'm sure if it freezes tonight it will be a mess!(This is the water in our back yard)

I would much rather have the snow than the rain, sleet, etc. That stuff makes it way more dangerous.
I will be glad when the rain is gone. It's been raining for 2 weeks straight it seems. It's crazy that we were almost in a drought through the summer when the farmers needed, and now it won't stop!!
