Clean, crisp sheets are on my top 5 {maybe top 3} very favorite things in life. Love them. Routinely, I change them once a week. Sometimes, I have to stop myself from changing them two times a week. Not that I'm looking for more laundry to do {trust me, I have plenty}, I just love clean sheets that much. Living in Germany, I'm going back to the basics and this is one of those finer things in life that I just absolutely love.
Even better than clean sheets- clean sheet that have been hung out to dry.
Ahhh... heaven.
I have two favorite sets of sheets for our bed that I change out weekly. If I get them out on the line early enough in the day so they're nice and crisp, I put the fresh ones right back on our bed. If not, I pull from the drawer. Even after a week folded up and tucked away- amazingly the new sheets still smell outdoor fresh. That's what we're sleeping on tonight. It's all about the simplicity for me- the small things in life right now. And the positive. Really, I'm trying.
The big boys are headed to the Netherlands tomorrow for a track meet. How cools is that? Holland is on the top of my list of places to go and my boys will make it there before me. If I'm a good mom, they might have clean, air-dried sheets on their bed waiting for them tomorrow night. We have a day trip of our own planned for tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. Trier- the oldest city in Germany. I'm excited.
