Justin had a track meet yesterday morning- perfect weather for a track meet. Placing second in both shot put and disc, he had a great meet.

As the largest DoDDs school in Europe, we just found out the high school here doesn't have a disc ring. So, for the meets, each school invited {including Ramstein} throws at their own school on Friday and the scores are recorded. Crazy, I think. This is definitely an academic-focused high school rather than athletic-focused high school which is good. But, a ring would be nice.

Justin was pleased with his disc throw {Friday} and qualified for European Nationals with 116 feet. The coaching has been sporatic {at best}, so we're pleased he's keeping his head up!

We just got Ty in to the doctor and he's out for another two weeks, hopefully he'll heal up so we can watch him- I hate not seeing him out there.
